Owner Steve Heath, a Kinston, North Carolina native, graduated from high school in 1981, and has been a licensed Real Estate agent for fifteen years and a licensed General Contractor for five years. He has been married for 25 years and is a father of two children.

After working for 18 years as an automotive .++-, he felt the desire to change his career to the construction field. Relying on experience gained through his father's trade, he started a home improvement business in 1997. He worked many nights and weekends to bring his new business to life.

Kitchen Kraft, Inc. was established in 1999. It is a flourishing cabinet and countertop business. After ten years of specializing in kitchen remodeling, he made it his goal to build high quality homes at a reasonable price with a broad customer base.
